Batavierenrace

On the 1st and 2nd of May, the 48th Batavierenrace takes place, the world's largest relay race! This year too we are participating with Harambee, and we hope that you want to run with us!

The Batavierenrace is a relay race of 175 km from Nijmegen to Enschede in 25 stages. The last two stages start at the Oude Markt in Enschede and end on the UTrack on campus. The stages are divided into three teams: the evening team, the morning team and the afternoon team.

You don't have to be a marathon runner to participate, everyone is welcome! The stages have different lengths, between 3 and 10 kilometres. You can indicate your preference on the kilometres as well as on which team you prefer to be.

On Friday the 1st of May, when the evening team starts, there is a pre-Bata party in the vb. And then on Saturday the 2nd of May, the real Bata party, the biggest student party in the Benelux, takes place on the campus.

We will have a van in which we will drive from one starting place to the other, so if you don't mind driving the van, please indicate this! The registration fee is 12.17 euros, and the costs will in total be max 35 euros. A sweater is included, but it is optional.
